Learn Spanish during tailored language classes

You will spend a few hours each day with a professional language teacher. You can choose to focus on basic Spanish grammar, vocabulary, or conversation, whatever interests you. If you are volunteering or interning in Argentina, you may want to learn vocabulary and conversation skills relevant to your project, in order to help you communicate more effectively.

Classes will take place either at the Project Abroad offices, or at your host family’s home. Classes will be personalised and will go at your own pace. Depending on your level, you may be placed with two or three other students during classes.

Explore Argentina and see some of the major sights

There are lots of things to do in the city of Cordoba, and you will have time to explore in the evenings and on the weekends. The lush Sarmiento Park, ancient Jesuit Block, and Evita Fine Arts Museum are just a few must-sees!

Volunteer or intern, if you choose to combine your lessons with another project

If you choose to volunteer or intern during or after your course, most of your day will be spent out in the field. For example, if you do volunteer work with children in Argentina, you will help support early childhood development in disadvantaged childcare centres. Or, you could do a medical internship in Argentina, and learn directly from doctors in a busy hospital.
